Admission Documents
- University Bachelor’s Degree: A degree from a national or international university, equivalent to 6 semesters, in sports science or a related field of study. The department cannot provide a reliable pre-assessment of admissibility or acceptance of your previous degree program in advance.
- Advanced Knowledge in English: Meet the language requirements specified by the university.
- Vocational Internship: Provide evidence of a successfully completed vocational internship, lasting a minimum of 8 weeks, in the field of sports science. This proof must be submitted to the Department’s Student Advisory Office no later than 5 weeks after the start of lectures. Internships completed during undergraduate studies are recognized. Applicants who completed their bachelor’s degree at the Faculty SG of the same university are exempt from providing proof of practical training.
- Letter of Motivation: A written statement (max. 2 DIN A4 pages) explaining why you consider yourself a suitable candidate for the M.Sc program. This should include specific qualifications, interests, or other skills.
- Abstract/Exposé: Include an abstract (300-500 words) of your bachelor thesis. If the thesis is incomplete at the time of application or wasn’t required, provide an abstract of the main concept (scientific problem, methods). International applicants who didn’t write a bachelor thesis should submit a scientific exposé (300-500 words) of a research project conducted during their bachelor studies. The abstract/exposé should adhere to international scientific standards in form and content, properly cite sources, and include a declaration of personal authorship.
