Application Documents
- A signed application forms.
- A personal statement (maximum 2 pages) explaining your interest in the specific master’s program and your choice of TUM.

- An essay (about 1,000 words) in German or English on a specific topic (except for MSc. CSE applicants – check program pages for essay topics).
- The “Analysis of the curriculum” form, available on the application website for the respective study program.
- Your Bachelor’s degree certificate with a list of courses and grades or an official transcript of records. If these documents are not in German or English, they must be translated and notarized.
- Curriculum details (module descriptions, course catalogue, or syllabus) from your undergraduate degree (not required for MSc. CSE).
- Proof of English and/or German language proficiency as per the language requirements.
- GRE or GATE scores for applicants with a BSc. from Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, or Pakistan (either original scorecard or scores transmitted directly by ETS).
- Preliminary documentation from Uni-assist for applicants with a bachelor’s degree from outside the EU/EEA.
- Optional: Certificates from any related professional training or additional qualifications (e.g., research competition participation, internships).
- A passport-sized photo.
